More news about my #cat's condition
The veterinarian called me today with another set of test results. She says that my cat's kidney disease seems to be stabilized at stage 2, contrary to what she initially thought. Protein markers have even improved. But she can't explain it WRT his 25% weight loss in the past 11 months. It might be caused by a separate disease, maybe cancer... She said we could have further tests made (scans) ... $$$ I said I'd think about it.

These scans would cost hundreds of dollars. And if they find something, then what? I mean I love the little furball, and I want him to live as long as possible without suffering. But he's 16.5 years old.
For now, I changed his food 2 weeks ago, he seems to have gained more appetite, he doesn't seem in bad shape.
And now he just climbed on my belly while I'm lying on my couch. 😄
@normandc My mother has sworn by olive leaf extract for years. Their cat, who was about as old as yours, got cancer and she fed him the olive leave mixed with coconut oil. The tumors went away and he got healthy again and lived for another 5 years. Not sure what else it can do, but it was miraculous at how much better the cat got.
