Just discovered the neighbor's gardener apparently sprayed poison all along their side of the fence... everything is dead for ~25cm. On the other side of that fence, slightly downhill, is our mint, rosemary (which has been mysteriously tasting bitter 😕), fennel, broad beans... and our nectarine tree, which has just started dropping lots of nowhere-near-ripe fruit.
I don't think i have any rights to stop them, either.
It's... taking me a while to calm down
@rose_myrtle Urgh. This is a good argument for planter boxes.
@ned yeah, I'm about to do that, right after I write a civil note to let the neighbour know what her gardener did.
Shame about the nectarine tree though... can't do anything about that.
@rose_myrtle @ned Maybe write your thoughts out to organize them, but so much is lost in writing. I would kindly speak to the neighbor in person, you might get lucky, they might be willing to make things right.
