@jeremy Is this going to make it harder for other applications to use OSM for background maps, since they'll have to re-render from vector+style? I hope raster tiles will still be available...

@geospacedman @jeremy This is my concern as well, but it is a cool development. I use FoxtrotGPS a lot, as well as DigiKam, and they both use raster tiles.
