I'm not a #Windows user - I havn't been for many years, I daily drive #Linux

But I'll be (probably not) the first to say that #Microsoft under Satya Nadella is actively nosediving into the ground and nobody at the helm is pulling up.

I recognize that Competition is necessary - And Windows at it's peak is fantastic but we've not been there in a very long time.

I want Linux to Succeed - But not because Microsoft screwed up so hard that your only other option was MacOS.

Microsoft is actively throwing away brands that have existed for decades - Microsoft Office is done. It's gone, and it's not alone. More and more of their product stack is named CoPilot this and CoPilot that. We pointed and Laughed and Ridiculed Twitter over this.

But that was Twitter. This is Microsoft, one of the biggest tech companies of all time, and lets be real, the reason the IBM PC is still relevant today.

Meanwhile everyone I've asked about CoPilot, who isn't a tech, either doesn't use it, doesn't understand it, or actively dislikes it.

I actually struggled to find ANYONE who was more positive than negative.

They need a new CEO asap before the plane strikes the ground.

@krutonium I think the plan, since Windows 10, has been to get out of the operating system business. There's no money there going forward and they know it. This is them squeezing as much profit as they can out of Windows, while they can, while pointing users to their real interest, cloud capital. Getting users locked into those applications and ecosystem are their focus.
