Once your coffee starts to percolate how long do you usually let it run for? I go for 4.5 minutes. I also salt the grounds a bit. Heard others may do cinnamon or nutmeg.

@Cleisthenes I got a french press a couple of weeks ago and use it for coffee and tea. 5 minutes seems about right to me before pressing. Never tried a percolator.
