What really bugs me about the black community in America is why they can't seem to get together, formulate a plan to better themselves by helping themselves I stead of asking the white man for help?

I mean, I'd try to make success a goal in life to show them I can make it. That's the best FU in the face I can give. And with success comes respect.

@lo Now there's a convo that would get shut down on big social. It bugs me too. My 2 cents is that it is because changing your lifestyle from how you were raised is hard. You have to be able to see other ways that are better and adopt them. The black community has a problem doing this because they have a lot of pride in their identity. It's too bad that they have allowed others to define that to be "victim". I hope that this could be changing and I wish them the very best.

@daniel

Yes, I think they've had generations of conditioning to feel and be seen as victims by the very people who oppressed them centuries ago so they can be controlled. They can do so much better. It's a shame. So many of them have overcome that and became powerful. A majority still don't.
