It's amazing. One can buy the same series on DVD and let someone send it to your house while you are half across the globe. But you can not stream it, because it would infringe the license.
I hope physical copies if movies never disappear, this stuff is ridiculously overcomplicated.

@sheogorath There's a lot of media that would have been lost if not for pirate fans. I copy all my physical media to NAS. I have boxes of DVDs that stay out of sight in storage. Copyright laws have been perverted and the goalpost is always changing. Always let your conscience be your guide.
