@emelie Good on you! Recurve bows are a lot more fun and less forgiving. The Astral CORE looks like a fine bow. I used to hunt with an 80lb Hoyt compound bow and could hit milk jug caps pretty consistently at 50 yards. Shot a deer once and he jumped at the noise then stopped to look at me and trotted off. Swore that I missed, but I found him not far off. Arrow went right through!
