i have a dell xps 13 (7390) and this is my first Dell and it's 2 years old. I'm finding I need to replace the battery but i've never bought one for this before. anyone have any tips? do i need the official battery or have you been okay with generic ones? any suggestions for how to find a good replacement?

@exquisitecorp First you need to replace the 18650 lithium cells and solder…just find the S/N on the old battery and order one online. I’ve never used a generic laptop battery because it’s just not worth a fire hazard or shorter use-life to me.
