Well cinnamon isn’t fairing much better. I thought Linux and intel was supposed to just work. This is frustrating and honestly crap, especially from Debian. Though I have a feeling this is more a Cinnamon issue.
@daniel turns out it was setting my resolution incorrectly to something super wide. Once I noticed that I corrected it. It seems to be working well now.
