This is driving us nuts. There was some movie/series that featured ring-shaped storage/authentication devices. These were worn and we have this vague notion that the characters were trying to swipe/swap them. Can't remember what this was and any help would be appreciated.

@futt @daniel What makes you think any of that is true? I mean, probably some of it is. Maybe all of it is. But … how do you know? We do know ChatPGT has a habit of making stuff up?

Despite being 13 percent of the population, Africans commit over 56 percent of the violent crime in the United States. If you control for able bodied, military age (between 15 and 45) blacks, it's closer to 6 percent of the population causing over 56 percent of the violent crime. :yotsuba_bow:

@nickchuckwalter Nope. There was something like a data terminal with an interface like a ring holder that connected to the rings.

@daniel 🤔 well if you ever figure out you gotta reply here cause now I'm invested lol

@daniel
ChatGPT came up with the following:

Based on your description, it sounds like you might be referring to the TV series "The Expanse." In the show, characters wear "data tablets" called "hand terminals," which are ring-shaped and used for authentication, data storage, and communication. The characters often swipe or exchange these devices to transfer data or access secure areas.

Is that it?

@casjo2022 Not The Expanse, though I’m in book 6 right now. It was the series Upload.
