@Citizenzibb@fosstodon.org She is. They broke through her window and hit her in the face, but it's mostly superficial. It definitely freaked her and her mother out. As she was trying to get away she hit someone. She reported it to the police, but they were like, "You did what you had to do."

A friend's daughter was attacked today by a group of protesters in Denver. She was in her work truck just trying to go to work. Anyone who actually cared about justice or others wouldn't do something like that. #georgefloyd

Seriously, who throws a firework at someone's house at 3am? Glad our dogs weren't out, because it went off right where they would have been. I get up around 4:30 anyways, but I doubt the wife and baby will get back to sleep.

@charlescodes I'm taking my time, only 3 lessons in. I've heard good things about Rust. I program as a hobby and for basic things I need. I really want to understand lower level stuff and get to the point where I could actually contribute to a project. The learning curve is steep for non professionals.

Even though I have a ton of projects and have no business picking up anything else, I have finally started learning C, something that I've put off for 25 years. Decided to go with Learn C the Hard Way, anyone have any opinions/advice? #C #programming
