Psalm 37:27-28
World English Bible
27 Depart from evil, and do good.
Live securely forever.
28 For Yahweh loves justice,
and doesn’t forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

@MaryMamuzich @Lindseyay I read those as a kid🙂 My wife needs to do some tea parties at church to burn through her collection. We'll never drink it all before it gets old!

@maleza I would definitely embed some reinforcing. Wood, wire mess, rebar, etc.

@maleza I really like Nubian vaults, you making bricks? Shrinkage, cracks, and fissures are always something to keep in mind and bricks somewhat solve this. I honestly would skip the bricks and build re-usable forms to standardize your system. You skip all the brick making labor and just throw your mix on the form in thin layers, letting it dry. Notch trowel. Fill in any shrinkage cracks with the new layers. String up piano wire and trowel the outside face for a nice smooth finish. Good luck!

@maleza Like what you're building! Have you ever tried building vaults with earth? You might like this.

Anyone know of any updates on the 5D optical data storage tech that came out of the University of Southampton around 5 years ago? I'm still excited about the idea of being able to write TB's of data on a piece of glass and leave it on the shelf without worrying too much about bit rot.

I've had the weirdest dream, technically animal abuse but not within dream logic

Just found out that one of my classmates that I kept in touch with died alone in a hospital last month. We couldn't have been much more different, yet we could co-exist. She had a crazy childhood and I always felt sort of called to be part of her life and pray for her, despite her almost violent opposition to my way of life. Real compassion, not duty. Have you ever felt like that about someone? She was an interesting, funny, and disgusting person really, who partied til the end.

@blitzed I don't think the KJV is the end-all, be-all, but it is a pretty faithful translation. Pslams sound good in KJV. The WEB is my go to. Run from the Message.

@blitzed This does echo true. I don't know what translation that is, but I know it's not right.

@CMike You shouldn't run anything on Windows. That used to be kind of a joke, but unless you are on a system admin level, Windows, and for that matter Android, are both hard to get right. Linux is fairly easy to secure, but I still haven't found a 100% open source multi-coin wallet. Lots are advertised as such, but go try and find source code you can compile. Guarda is the software wallet I use, and Electrum looks good for BTC, but I would recommend hardware wallets to most folks.
