Feeling pretty bad for the crew at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. They had to sedate a tiger for a potentially life threatening dental problem and she slipped off of a waist-high bench as the anesthetic took hold. Tigers are heavy and it was enough of a fall to cause a fatal spinal injury.😞

@Big_Diggity @mary We did! Fiddler's isn't Red Rocks, but it wasn't a bad venue. We got rained on but we cuddled it out and Weezer looked like they were having a blast! Great show!

@amiko @useless_idiot @Mesooohahny @obihahn Interesting thoughts on why we don't see new architecture like that any more. After the Chicago fire in 1871, this technology came out on top (for a while) and still stands in many places. It was tricky to get right and few people could do it. Dr. Ochsendorf at MIT is a big fan of this stuff.
