@marcosgutierrez @Big_Diggity You know, that is cool and I wouldn't have considered it. There are a lot of engineering folks who kinda hate the status quo but don't know about free alternatives. If they had a place to learn about workflows and provide feedback/funding to developers, they might be able to come out ahead without proprietary software.

@Big_Diggity I'm mildly entertaining the idea. I was at the mall tonight and thought, "What if I put a Linux store right next to the Apple store?" Things I would do:
-Sell new computers with free OS's
-Convert/update/repair computers
-Have displays for people to demo
-A counter of "# of computers liberated!"
-A coffee/lounge/forum corner
-Classes for education
-A few museum pieces
-Great quotes all over
-Plushies of Tux, Puffy, etc.
Give me some more ideas!

If I opened a brick and mortar freedom focused computer store at the mall (think Linux, BSD, System76, Purism, Pine64, etc.), what would you want to see and what would make it worthwhile to shop there?

@mrman "If you're upset that I'm getting a second helping, relax. If I had a lady to cook for me I'd eat at home, so get off my case boomer."

@MisterRogersSnapped One of my friends is a producer for a few iHeart shows/stations. They run pretty dang lean and most do it as a passion. I think 5 years ago, the last of our local stations sold out to iHeart. Radio really is a glue that helps hold our society together.

@ladyhope I have seen .msg files that are emails. They opened up in outlook.

When I wrote the date today, I got the year right first try! Things are looking up.

My folks got me an aluminum print of this photo, it’s really nice!

@paga4 First chapter of Daniel, first chapter of Genesis:
God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food."
This video argues the same thing so well.

Just made my first Kransekake. Glad it was a trial run…

@MisterRogersSnapped You’re using logic, reason, and common sense. That’s not how companies work.
