While I’m glad Heidi’s kindergarten teachers are exposing the kiddos to nature, you gotta be careful when handing an autistic kid a live animal. They handed her a lizard, she looked at it, decided she didn’t like it, and threw it pretty hard. Guess we’ll hear if it survived tomorrow.

The best underground electric pipe crew I've worked with was a lesbian trio who had previously served time together. We'd banter at each other daily and I remember one of them saying, "You wanna fight? I may not win the fight, but you'll know you were in one." I believed her, good times.

I heard about a backup tool called Restic yesterday. I'm looking into it and so far it seems promising. Anyone have any experience or opinions on it?

Pretty crazy, but somehow a lot of our local gas stations have had diesel mixed into the gasoline (I'm assuming the issue is at wherever they fill the delivery trucks) and lots of vehicles are messed up. We know of two people personally impacted. Is this covered by insurance?

Hats off to Bose for open sourcing one of their cloud products as it reaches EOL.

@krutonium I think the plan, since Windows 10, has been to get out of the operating system business. There's no money there going forward and they know it. This is them squeezing as much profit as they can out of Windows, while they can, while pointing users to their real interest, cloud capital. Getting users locked into those applications and ecosystem are their focus.

@stefano Not trying to be morbid, but when land surveying I’ve come across a few graves in places like this that were remote. The stones usually indicate that they were accomplished and loved, so I like to think that they were special spots to them like this.

The year is 2030 and season 2 of Firefly is released. AI has progressed enough to make this economical and mimics the production quality of 2003. Joss Weldon and the original actors are involved. Will you watch it?

I have only now seen the alternate ending to Terminator 2 and, considering how bad the latter movies were(Carl was fun though), it might have been a better ending.
