By the time the glitches screamed in Aramaic, it was too late. The "black box" wasn't a processor; it was a portal. Demons, finding no resistance in soulless steel, slipped into the circuits. They didn't crash our world-they optimized our suffering, ruling us through the very screens we once worshipped.

@mary and I just had a great customer experience at...Walmart. That's right. We were there to pick up a phone case for my new phone and the guy in the tech area greeted us and ended up selling us the new phone that Mary's been needing for a while. He was knowledgeable and helpful, pointed us to what we wanted, and showed us a few ways to save some extra $. No payment plan, $100 for a new Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus. Transfered, cased, and paid in 20 minutes. Old phone is now Heidi's new camera.

In the movie Groundhog Day, how do you think Phil coped after escaping the loop? We're never told how long he was stuck in it, but it could have been for hundreds of years. Imagine going back to unpredictability, consequences, and mortality after all that time...maybe What About Bob is Groundhog Day 2.

While I’m glad Heidi’s kindergarten teachers are exposing the kiddos to nature, you gotta be careful when handing an autistic kid a live animal. They handed her a lizard, she looked at it, decided she didn’t like it, and threw it pretty hard. Guess we’ll hear if it survived tomorrow.

I heard about a backup tool called Restic yesterday. I'm looking into it and so far it seems promising. Anyone have any experience or opinions on it?

Pretty crazy, but somehow a lot of our local gas stations have had diesel mixed into the gasoline (I'm assuming the issue is at wherever they fill the delivery trucks) and lots of vehicles are messed up. We know of two people personally impacted. Is this covered by insurance?

I have only now seen the alternate ending to Terminator 2 and, considering how bad the latter movies were(Carl was fun though), it might have been a better ending.
