Proxmox VE Helper-Scripts Project Update (EDIT) · tteck/Proxmox · Discussion #4009
from tteck "I have been diagnosed with incurable appendix cancer that has already spread, and doctors estimate I have less than a month left. Thankfully, hospice care is managing the pain well. This experience has shown me just how brief and precious life is—so make every moment count, and cherish the time you have." 😭 🙏

There is a guy in my hometown who was active at the church I grew up in. I haven’t spoken to him in over 20 years, but I reached out to him today to reminisce about computers and to let him know that he had a big impact on my life for good. Too late. His wife informed me that he has dementia and probably couldn’t talk…well as I was typing this, he called and he seemed as sharp as ever! Moral of the story: Let those who’ve done good works in your life know how they’ve made a difference!
So I accidentally closed my tab before writing down a flight confirmation number. Ok, no problem. I usually get around 20 emails/flight trying to upsell me something. Didn’t get a confirmation email. No way to talk to a human, chat function useless, no way to interact at all with the airline without the confirmation number. Credit card has been charged. I guess I’ll just have to dispute the charge. Not using Frontier again, I’ve had too many bad experiences with them.
Got some pop up garages to store hay today. They do look better than a bunch of tarps and I wanted to see if they could be a cheaper alternative to a nice canvas tent. I think so. Our place is on an old migration route where people followed bison for at least 10k years. There are still some around. Relaxing in the peaceful darkness, under the moon, in the cool autumn breeze really puts life in perspective.
@mary had a car problem today when her oil cooler hose ruptured. Thankfully she was smart and didn’t continue to drive and ruin the engine! There was a repair shop nearby but it was closed. Thankfully one of the workers, who lived in an RV on site, decided to help us and we were on the road in a couple hours. He didn’t even want to charge us much. Very thankful to God and Nolan🙂
