@lo I've always thought we should focus on growing or synthesizing cleaner fuels. One of my back burner projects is to make a steam car like the one Prichard built in the early 70's. Might pick your brain when the time comes to start.

I think data driven is good, but our motives must be right and balanced. It has to be understood that God has done the work of salvation and we cannot add to it. Our response is the fruit of it.

@rose_myrtle I think the article gives a good answer, but there is something revolting about adopting a sort of corporate attitude that focuses on nothing but striving. I have been a part of churches that focus on nothing but the Great Commission and something about it felt sick. Someone pointed out the reason to me this year and it made me think. The purpose of the Church is not missions, but worship. Missions can(and will) flow from worship, but they are not what we are called for.

Not the best picture, poor girl is getting the last few teeth in, but she is wearing a dress that her great great grandmother made for my mother. It is of excellent quality and the first of many that she is big enough to wear. My great grand parents wore a lot of hats to make ends meet, but there is no doubt that my great grandmother was a talented seamstress. My guess is that these dresses were made of leftover fabric from well to do clients.

Some of my friends somehow got John Noble to record a Christmas video for their dad. It was pretty awesome.
