@charlescodes I'm taking my time, only 3 lessons in. I've heard good things about Rust. I program as a hobby and for basic things I need. I really want to understand lower level stuff and get to the point where I could actually contribute to a project. The learning curve is steep for non professionals.

@ross I can't point you in the right direction, but I think it's pretty cool. Had never heard of it until your mention. With all of the complexity and abstraction in modern web browsing, I think a lot of people and newcomers could get into simplicity.
