@PNS That guy was real quick with the, “Say Cheese!”

Waded through loads of beaver ponds last weekend fishing. It was so quiet and peaceful. There is a timeless quality to nature that reflects its creator. It would have been easy to get lost in there and part of me wanted to.

These are the things that @mary and I sometimes talk about.

Stephen King is so hit or miss for me. I haven't read it, but I enjoyed The Life of Chuck movie.

It looks like Justine Haupt is throwing in the towel with the Rotary Un-Smart Phone project.

It's been a wild ride of dedication, hardship, loss, perseverance, and regret. I really wish her the best. Her story scares me enough that I might learn something from her experience.

@Sophistifunk I think they’re usually canned and generally I think we associate canned fish and meats with Depression Era/Cold War food, aside from tuna. A lot of Americans don’t like fish. Mackerel are beautiful, I’ve caught a few around this time of year in NC.

@picofarad Oh true, I’m not arguing for best investments. I bought that stock just playing around and figured it might be worth less today. I owned over 100 bitcoin at one time, but took minuscule profits. The advice I wish I could tell my past self would be to just not look at the investments and let them mature. 40x is still WAY better than most people see.

You know, the first stock I bought was 1 share of Facebook in 2012. It cost me $19 and I’ve kept it as a sentimental thing. I looked at it today and it was over $785. I am no investment guru, but I don’t know anyone who’s made significant money from their job. That comes from investments and being a little savvy with money. Buy all kinds of things that you have some understanding of and seem like they might go up in value. Then, leave them alone for a while and see.

@skinnylatte Ha! The family and I were out there a couple of weeks ago. Wonderful aquarium and great memories!

@ajroach42 I just watched The White Diamond last night, sort of similar to what you want.

@fedicon @reiver Really enjoying these videos and will make a point to get to the next FediCon.
