@todayilearned That is both confusing and saddening to see. Is it propped up by ad revenue, selling user data, or do people pay for the service?

@pheonix Usually books, mostly fiction, seems to work. Some audio books are narrated so well that they are improvements. Social situations, dialogue, and everything was a lot different before modern “convenience”.

@pheonix I like to read things from before cell phones and before the internet was wildly used. There is something comforting about visiting a world without that stuff again.

A bear just went through three of our vehicles systematically looking for food. I noticed a door open up on the last truck through the living room window and @mary went out thinking it was one of the kids. She came face to face with it when she poked her head in lol. The speed and dexterity with which the bear opened the other door from the inside, in its escape, blows my mind. There’s over 20 of us in the house, very ballsy.

@ajroach42 The registrar I was using got bought by network solutions and the propagation wasn’t happening. They have a legacy settings panel that was instant when I tried it.

Tonight’s the last night our favorite local pizza joint will be in business. A big turn-out!
