I have to admit that I really enjoy reading the Expanse books by James S. A. Corey. A lot of authors can be irritating at times or only good at certain kinds of stories, but Corey(a pen name for two guys) seems like he could write well in many genres. You care about the characters and many of the themes echo current events like good sci-fi ought to do.
Well, that was rough. It’s always hard and emotional when people need to leave the church for life reasons, but this time everyone was in tears. One of the several foster children, taken in by members, is being relocated to his extended family in New York. While normally that is a good outcome, most of us aren’t convinced that it’s true in this case. The government thinks otherwise. Everyone poured out their love on him and prayed for God‘s guidance and protection and said goodbye.
If my oldest daughter turned out like Eva, I wouldn't be upset. She already sounds a bit like her😂

Probably preaching to the choir, but keep your eyes on the globalists and stand against their evil.

I found this mesh network visualizer from a few years ago that stuck with me.

You can tweak the range and number of nodes and the results sort of surprised me.

@InspectorRhynos
Made soup. I think the half Serrano pepper I added has made it inedible to @mary 😔🌶️

“OK, time for a new day!” -Me
@mary needs at least twice as much sleep, you know, like a normal person. Whenever I switch gears mentally, I need a 30 minute nap, but then I’m good.
I interviewed Michelle Yeoh a few years ago about #StarTrekDiscovery and I mentioned offhand that I'd written an article about what seeing her use her accent on the bridge of a starship meant to me.
She stopped and said "Wait, that was YOU?"
And then proceeded to talk about how much that article had meant to HER and how it contributed to the success of the show.
I can't think about it without crying.
