@neauoire Do you have any experience with PLCs? I’ve been designing my hydronic heating/cooling system for my new home and was thinking a PLC would be a good idea. I imagine one could run Uxn, but I’m not sure where to start. Any ideas?

@mike There are always some design decisions that don't quite make sense. We had a guy replace our cabin fan on the Xterra because he needed the work and the fan had a bunch of crap in it. Apparently there is a camshaft position sensor right beside the fan and he loosened it a bit by accident. Next day the car turns completely off while my wife is driving in traffic...there had to be a more graceful failure mode.

@dallin@librem.one I don't know much about LBRY or PeerTube, but how do their redundancies/decentralization compare? How are PeerTube instances financed? It's rare to see anything based on altruism stand the test of time.

Just heard that Sidney Poitier died. Really liked him in The Lilies of the Field, The Heat of the Night, and Sneakers.

I shouldn't pick up anything else, but I've been thinking about starting a primitive cartography club. Folks could use means and methods similar to what was used in the 18th and 19th centuries to make maps for fun, education, and decoration. Maybe have competitions to locate buried treasure or something. Good exercise!

Difference of opinion on this doctrine has ended the most number of pastor interviews in our church. It is a historically divisive topic that really shouldn't be and I think people tend to over-complicate it. Comparing baptism to patterns in relationships like marriage and adoption seems to help most folks understand the necessity. Charts are not usually helpful.

@dustinthewind Be as polite and as kind as you can be. Don’t explain your reasoning, you don’t have to. Tell them what they’re doing is wrong and don’t give them any other reason to fire you. They are probably trying to look for or manufacture one. Save a much documentation as you can. Make that cog in the HR machine question their participation.

Watched About Time a few months ago and still thinking about it. Good movie that I’ll definitely re-watch.
