You know, BitTorrent is actually pretty cool. It is probably used for piracy mostly, but it is a tool that can be used for good. BitTorrent is able to share all kinds of information to friends, family, or the public without going through a middle man or setting up a server. I think most people don't know this, but they should.

@acnewberry I've done a few projects in Five Points and it's like a 3rd world country. No way I'd even think about running a business there. It's sad because some of my older co-workers said it was once a ritzy place to live. People with thinking like Candi CdeBaca are one reason why we can't have nice things.

Just found an old iPhone 4 in the basement. Runs a softphone app, XMPP client, OpenVPN, terminal emulator, and media player just fine. Super computers...collecting dust.

@matthew I haven’t used Thunderbird with PGP, but I do know that I’ve had to trust imported keys before they worked.

We’ve listened to this sooo many times because Heidi loves it.

@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter I decided to go with Proso millet because it has a history of doing well in my area. I ground some up this evening, tried to blow out the hulls, and made a hot cereal paste. It was in-between grits and cream of wheat and I liked it! Thinking about planting in about a month and might try some other grains.

@mhjohnson We replaced the boilers a few years back at Aurora Central HS and I scanned the boiler room and “steam” tunnels. It was built in the mid 50’s. Though asbestos was everywhere, the whole school could have fit down there. Hundreds of feet of 12’ wide, 7’ tall tunnels.
