Just hearing about Bruce Willis having dementia. That stinks, I wouldn't wish brain disease on anyone. I noticed that he was taking a lot of B-movie roles in recent years and now it makes sense if he was trying to do what he loved while he could.

@Tacos No doubt our food system is messed up, but people have been eating corn and soy for millennia to their benefit. The GMO stuff we feed livestock isn’t the same as what’s grown for human consumption when bought in the raw form. Like you said though, if people would stop and look at their food and pick healthier things, the market would shift to accommodate them.

I've been pretty disciplined in sticking to a whole-food plant-based diet this week and, just like always, I feel so much better.

Yesterday I went to go see one of our survey supplier's and their newly built shop. I'm friends with them, but haven't stopped by in person in a few months. I told my intern that he had to meet Kris, their hilarious and awesome receptionist. When we got there, there was a new face at the front desk and I asked if Kris was off.
"No, she's no longer with us. She had a heart attack.", the new lady said.
"Oh wow, is she OK?", I asked.
"No, she didn't make it. I'm sorry.", she replied.
Just like that, someone special in my life was gone. Had I ever talked to her about Jesus? There is an urgency about the Gospel and we (the Church) have been put specifically where we are to be a light in this world.

@rose_myrtle No arguments😎 Secular schools (at least here) are only secular in name. In actuality, they are leftist. Leftism is itself a religion, and these days, it is more vigorous at proselytizing than Christianity.

@rose_myrtle current state/secular schools vary, but a lot of them seem to be teaching students indirectly that THEY are the the gods of their life. Life is about themselves, their dreams, their ideas and desires. Truth is subjective. I don't really think of atheists as being very similar.

@SirBemrose Been joking about this since forever and deep down we know it's true, but this still hits hard. It's depressing and angering to think about how much has been stolen from us, along with knowing that our money empowered greater theft and destruction. #smallgovernmentplease
