@LibrarianRA I loved those Tato Skins, the TGI Fridays are really similar.
It's election week! 🥳
The natural party of chaos has broken and plundered everything, partied while the bodies piled high, and tried to blame the most vulnerable for the 💩 they've discharged.
It's time to #StopTheTories

So @mary was feeling a bit off last weekend I checked her blood pressure. It was dangerously high (175/110) compared to usual (119/70). After checking her the next day with no improvement, I took her to the ER. When she was admitted it was 193/120. They looked for problems(none), gave her some meds, and she is now back to normal a week later. Our sitter had something similar happen, and also Heidi's therapist. All in the last 3 weeks with no other symptoms. Anyone else seeing anything like this?
@jessekelber They supposedly are border collies and have paperwork. They came from a cattle/sheep ranch. I guess there is just a wide range of physical traits. Appearance must be less important in working dog breeds than ability.
@DMakarios Type 2 myself, but I think you’re on the most reasonable track for most people. I’ve avoided meat and dairy completely this year and I don’t really miss them. I’m really against the factory farm practices for many reasons, but I think virus mutation and antibiotic resistant bacteria are huge threats to mankind. Almost feels like Devine punishment. Surgery just might stop being practical one day if we don’t knock it off.
@ned There’s a lot of days when I’m surveying with another guy. When we’re setting up and performing a resection it’s very critical that a clear sighting is made of the control point targets, so one of us often has to help block the sun hitting the scope. Sure, they make shrouds, but a hand works fine. Inevitably, due to the sun’s angle, and trying not to bump the tripod legs, this action turns into a Nazi salute. The look on a newbie’s face when you call them out…priceless.😂
@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter @Kruselady @MaryMamuzich @Cherishingsparrows2020 @richardafaherty @Olamide @Williams_girl @tanjaostman @bruster75 Yes missing a lot of you folks as well! Life does get busy, but drop a line at least once a month🙂
There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year, he won the award for the best-grown corn. One year, a newspaper reporter interviewed him and discovered the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors. “How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked.
“Why sir,” said the farmer, “Didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”
So is with our lives... Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.
