"I think of Gemini as like the Haiku form for poems: yes it's highly restrictive, but the art is just in expressing yourself though the form. People coming around and protesting that haikus aren't sonnets, or that they aren't suitable for writing plays, are missing the point, IMO."

Very proud of my daughter for working hard in life and going against the flow of her generation. May she use her gifts and talents to honor God and do great works in the world!

Every time I take my phone out of its case to clean everything, I'm amazed at two things:
1. How absolutely tiny it is and how they engineered it all together.
2. How gross humans are.

I've got a Gemini Capsule up and running! It was very easy.

What is Gemini?
Basically a simple, more secure idea of what the web should be.
It is VERY easy to write pages.

Been testing a computer that mounts NFS shares on a NAS for the users home directories and was planning on building these in all over the new house. In practice, it definitely shifts everything to a single point of failure.

I wonder if there is a convention for people associated with memes. They could get up and tell stories of how people recognize them, or how their meme images came to be. They could have lines of people paying to get a selfie with them.

[holding the Librem 5 out to Frodo after building Lagrange]

Gandalf:
Hold out your hand, Frodo. It's quite cool.
[Drops the phone into Frodo's palm]

Gandalf:
What do you see? Can you see anything?
Frodo:
Nothing. There's nothing.
[Gandalf sighs in relief]

Frodo:
Wait... there are markings. It's some form of Nerdish, I can't read it.
Gandalf:
There are few who can. The language is the that of Stdout, which I will not utter here.
